If you're at least 12 years or older and a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or equivalent), then you're ready for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver program. Complete the Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dives plus three additional Adventure Dives (five
total) and you'll earn a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. Divers between the ages of 12-14 can earn a Junior Advanced Open Water Diver rating. If you only wish to complete 3 Adventure Dives, you'll be eligable for a PADI Adventure Diver rating instead.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification is required for many of the PADI Specialty Diver courses but the specific Adventure Dives done during the AOW course may count toward the dive requirements of the applicable Specialty course as well. The PADI Advanced Open Water certification also lets you continue on to the PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver course.
So what does Adventures In Diving offer you? New experiences, new skills, lots of diving and adventures!
